Nomination period is open for positions: 1st Vice President and Treasurer. Due to the special nomination for Sgt at Arms this particular position is excluded until the next voting period.
The nomination period will be open for 1 month, and will close on April 19th. Voting itself will be open for 2 weeks.

Instructions for Nominations:
- Nomination of all candidates shall be submitted by petition and signed by at least two (2) members in good standing with the Guild.
- The petition shall be endorsed by the person nominated.
- Any candidate nominated will have five (5) days after closure date to withdraw. This must be done in writing to the President.
Position Description:
VICE-PRESIDENTS: The Vice-Presidents shall assist the President in such a manner as the President may determine. In absence of the President, he/she presides at meetings of the Guild and of the Executive Board.
TREASURER The Treasurer shall discharge on behalf of the Guild such duties as may be imposed upon him/her by the President or by applicable law including the execution and filing of any reports to Federal or State authorities, including, but not limited to the following:

Receive all money due the Guild, from whatever source, and disburse the same only by check signed by him/her and the President or Vice-President or any other member of the Executive Board.

Maintain and keep accurate records of members' dues payments, assessments and all other financial transactions.

Maintain the official list of members of the organization in an accurate and current manner including listings of retired and honorary members, and members not in good standing.

Be prepared to exhibit receipts, electronic records, and/or vouchers (as may be appropriate) upon the audit of the Guild's books.

When requested, present to the membership at any regular meeting an accounting of any past financial transactions to provide accountability and justification of any disbursements.

Create and maintain an operating budget.
